Cavago Partnership

Cavago, the equestrian technology company, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Cool Ridings and the Founder, Lydia Heywood, Gloucestershire-based Event Rider representing Jamaica.

Cavago’s founder and CEO Tauseef Qadri said: “ We’re delighted to ignite a partnership with Lydia and Cool Ridings. The team at Cavago are proud to support Lydia’s aspirations for encouraging diversity and equality within equestrian sport and we’re looking forward to the exciting projects to come as part of this collaboration.”

Lydia (27) founded Cool Ridings to celebrate and support underrepresented riders. Having begun Eventing in 2012, Lydia produced a number of young horses and notes her podium finish at Cornbury House International CCI-S 2* aboard her own 7-year-old Tullaher Lottie as the most special memory in her career to date. Her future was uncertain following the heartbreaking death of her mother Claire in 2022, but now based with Canadian international eventer Mike Winter and his wife Emma, Lydia’s hopes for this year are to develop her partnerships with two horses owned by supporters David Howden and Carl Shuker and to get some international runs under her belt.

Lydia said: “It brings me so much joy to announce this alignment with Cavago. I’m passionate about exploring the global equestrian community and connecting with like-minded people. Cavago’s platform enables everyone to discover a vast array of equestrian experiences from lessons and clinics to exploring stunning landscapes on horseback. The expert Cavago team streamlines the booking process whilst offering a dedicated, customisable page which will be ideal for publishing Cool Ridings events. I’m so looking forward  to engaging with a wider audience and benefitting from all the fantastic features on www.mycavago.com.”
